Two 16-year-olds—an isolated, fragile boy compulsively writing every detail down in his notebook, and a clever, cutting would-be actress with a 22-year-old boyfriend, who isn’t as tough as she thinks—meet at an artsy pre-college program, where they flirt, fight, but are unable to handle the love they’ve stumbled into. Sixteen years later, face-to-face again in a New York hotel suite, what was meant to be innocent nostalgia is turning into something far more difficult to handle, and they will have to discover whether half a lifetime ago is just too late.

Stagebuddy said of the play, “Not enough can be said about Drimmer's writing, really. The dialogue flows naturally from the mouths of the talented cast and are as conversational as one can get,” while Theater Is Easy wrote, “This is a show worth seeing thanks to a script rife with clever dialogue…Josh Drimmer has an ear for the kind of tense dialogue that erupts when intense sexual chemistry ignites between two young people who are not sure whether to run away from it or towards it.”
